Wastewater Collection Networks and Pumping Stations Section

These Sections are responsible for designing, monitoring, implementing and managing network systems for collecting and transferring wastewater from residential, commercial and industrial areas to treatment plants.

Relevant Activities: ­

  • Feasibility Studies, Detail Design and Construction Supervision of Development Plans of the Urban Wastewater Networks, Transmission Lines, Pumping Stations and Preparation of Drawings with relevant details.
  • Engineering Studies and Updating of Projects Under Operation, such as Improvement of Slope and Diameter and Determination of Hydrodynamic Coefficients of Lines, Repairing of Deficit of Wastewater Transfer Capacity, Rebuilding and Improving Sensitive Points in the main and subsidiary lines and branches.
  • Monitoring Studies of Leakage, Retention, Supercritical Flows, Investigation of the causes of dangerous gas production and deposition of solid materials in the network.
  • Designing Programs for Reconstruction, Improvement and Maintenance of Wastewater Network and Transmission Lines.
  • Investigating the Causes of Vulnerability of Pipes and Wastewater Collection and Transfer
