Planning, Design Projects related to Water Resource Management and Agricultural Infrastructure, including drip, and rain irrigation and save water consumption, Designing Drainage Networks to Dispose of Surface and Subsurface Water to prevent Damage caused by flooding are part of these Sections Duties.

Relevant Activities:­

  • Feasibility Studies, Detail Design and Construction Supervision of Irrigation and Drainage Networks, Water Harvesting Plans from Conventional and Unconventional Sources.
  • Feasibility Studies of the use of Non-conventional Water (Rainwater Storage, Hard Waters, Brackish Waters, Saline Waters, Municipal and Industrial Wastewater Water Sources) in Providing Irrigation Water.
  • Soil Science Studies and Capacity Measurement of Land use for Agricultural and Forestry
  • Coastal Organizations Studying and Designing Coastal Systems, Water Harvesting from Surface Water Resources, and Marine Systems.
  • Studies on Organization Plans, Determination of Bed Limits and Boundaries, Stabilizing River Beds, etc.
  • Studies on the Supply, Transfer and Distribution of Raw Water Resources and the Detail Design of Water Supply and Irrigation Networks in 15 Provincial Centers and more than 50
  • Designing Channels, Pipes and Water Flow Control Structures in Drainage Networks
