This Section is responsible for the designing, monitoring the implementation and operation of water treatment facilities to ensure that the water used is of the desired quality.

One of the experiences of this department is Conducting Studies, Modifications, Re-constructions and Construction Supervision of more than 30% of the Country’s Water Treatment Plants and Desalination Projects­.

Relevant Activities:

  • Feasibility Studies, Detail Design and Construction Supervision and Industrial Consulting in Water Treatment Projects.
  • Financial and Economic Evaluation of Water Treatment Plants by Reducing Water Loss and Reuse of Effluents and Residues.
  • Revising and Updating the Capacity of Existing Treatment Plants, Quantitatively and Qualitatively Optimizing Energy Consumption. Chemical Consumption, Organizing and Managing the Operation.
  • Evaluation and Design of Automation, Telemetry and Remote-control
  • Choosing the right treatment process according to raw water quality and output standards, the most suitable treatment processes (such as Clarification, Filtration, Disinfection etc.)
  • Detailed Design of various Treatment Plant Units, Taking into account the capacity, Type of Process and Design Standards.

Conducting a Study of the Water Distribution Networks of more than 20,000,000 People in the Country is one of the valuable experiences of this Department. ­

In this Section, all the Stages of Designing Water Transmission Lines and Transmission Lines Under Pressure, Pumping Stations, Related Equipment, Including, Inlet (Suction) Valves, Outlet (Thrust) Valves, Impact Tanks to Control Water Hammer, Reservoirs and Precision Instruments are done.

  • Preparation of Water needs Reports for Populated Areas and Determination of Deficiencies.
  • Determination of the volume of Reservoirs and water storage facilities and Mechanical Design.
  • Preparation of Financial and Technical Reports, Economic Estimation of Proposed Options.
  • Water Waste Reduction Studies.

The Duty of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Department in Ray Ab Consulting Engineers includes Various Stages of Design, Determination of Local Needs to Design of the Treatment Plant, the Review and Selection of the most Suitable Wastewater Treatment Technologies in accordance with Environmental needs and Standards.

These Sections are responsible for designing, monitoring, implementing and managing network systems for collecting and transferring wastewater from residential, commercial and industrial areas to treatment plants.
